Hi race fans, well boy o boy the season is drawing to an end way to quick.
Good to see a top field of midgets venture to Waikaraka Park this Saturday, Pickens, Mosen, Brock, Burgess et al. As a general rule they go pretty well there and have produced some very high points over the years (yes harking back to Shayne leaving the track). It’s interesting to watch them attack a different shape of track and how they alter their lines during the night. Really looking forward to it. Also the different seating options which provide an alternate perspective and allow in some spots you to observe the drivers hand movements on the wheel.
Disappointing not a single BSL car there thou especially after one of their drivers moaning earlier in the season about lacking of racing and apparently been turned away from tracks due to the letter on their cars. Just think that the class needs to be putting on a show to other/ new audiences, you might not convert all of them but you never know might pick up a few fans or maybe a driver or two which has to help the class as a whole. Also hear that loan cars which have been available in past few weeks have been rescinded for this weekend, pretty sad and petty if true.
Anyway enough of that stuff let’s celebrate the ones who are going to put on a show for us all tomorrow night. 6 pm start and see you in the clubrooms for a beer or two after .

Is there a list of drivers floating around?
