Can anyone shed light on Barry Wood? I recently read of the passing of Barry Wood living in whangarei. Barry raced 97 in the nineties and owned Barry's tyre service out by the airport. Can anyone confirm if not I ask for this post to be deleted.

Hi John, yes I did read a post on an EH Holden Facebook page that Barry passed away last week, can find the funeral details if you want, think it is Wednesday |

Hi Graeme, thanks for the reply. I saw the notice on a different Facebook page and it featured a EH Holden so sadly I think it us the same Barry.

Not sure if it’s the same Barry Wood but the Barry I know did have a tire shop in Takanini I believe and was an active member of the GM car club. He passed away a few days ago, funeral is tomorrow 11/5 in Kawa Kawa Bay.

I made a mistake thinking of kawakawa north of whangarei. Is kawakawa bay, Auckland.
