What a result for Team Wainmen!!
Just found this on a Uk FB post after seeing Karl Hawkins (who we all know is soon to FWJs son in law) win it on the weekend after a huge last bender from Charlie Sworder on Ryan Harrison, they have amended the result as he was actually a lap down from what I’ve been able to find and the official result is:
1st 515 FWJ 2nd 211 Phoebe Wainmen 3rd 555 FWJJ 4th 175 Karl Hawkins
A Wainmen racing 1-2-3-4

Now unfortunatly Ryan has been suspended from racing which means missing this weekends Semi Final at Odsal which was to start from pole and the World Final. However an appeal is in place

Was it the dive or second hit against the car in the fence that is/was the offence?

Was it the dive or second hit against the car in the fence that is/was the offence? The second hit into the stationary car against the wall.

I think going in for another hit on a stationary at is pretty consistent with getting a holiday here All in the heat of the moment and hopefully he still gets a shot at the world final

briscaf1.com/2022/07/29/orci-statement-ryan-harrison-197/ORCi Statement – Ryan Harrison (197) The ORCi convened a panel as a result of a request for an appeal by 197 Ryan Harrison following an incident in the European Championship at Northampton against the orginal BMB decision The original decision was reviewed by the ORCi. On this occasion, the panel exercised it’s opinion that given the evidence, they deemed the initial decision insufficient on the basis a Category A offence as defined by the rule book which they considered demanded a higher sentence, in this case for ramming a stationary car. The appeal panel have therefore completed the hearing and amended the original ban with a unanimous decision. They ORCi have issued as follows: 197 is banned from racing for the remainder of the 2022 season 197 may return to racing at the commencement of the 2023 season with a 12 month suspended ban Issued by ORCi 29th July 2022
