Team Red Waka told they aren’t required this year for the Battle Of the Stocks by the promoter Very, very disappointing decision for the fans. Red Waka did pull out due to Covid in 2021, but the event didn’t run anyway. I’m sure there will be 3 very capable cars replacing them, but these guys have been extremely loyal to the event for a very long time, and they draw the crowds in as well Will be interested to see if Woodford Glen put out any other reasons for the snubbing The Red Waka team kind of snubbed their own fans by not returning for the 2nd night at the NZ's at Huntly after they failed to qualify. You can’t say that, the red waka team are the victims here 😂. But yeah, I agree, not a good look at all.

I wouldn't expect any statement. Rules are rules. At the end of the day it's all about people thru the gate. The spectators that pay to watch. 👍

Do not know how many North Island cars will make it across the Strait with Ferry bookings being cancelled. One team already sitting in Wellington trying to rebook. If teams do get across I doubt whether they will get back in a timely manner. We tried a couple of weeks ago to go to South Island and had 2 bookings cancelled and told to book again No bookings were available for three weeks (Mid March) so flagged it

My understanding is that with a lot of hard work, and some juggling of ferry bookings, all the teams other than Mooney Motorsport have made it onto boats and are sailing their way to the South Island.

Its 'Battle of the Stocks' race day! Unfortunately due to ferry issues we have lost 26V Kaelin Mooney from SuperStocks & Stockcars, plus 6V Dion Mooney from Stockcars. Fortunately we have been able to find stand-ins for them in 422R Dylan Ashton (SuperStocks), 88V Troy Cleveland & 84D Mark Taylor move in to the Stockcar list. Who's ready for two night's of epic SuperStock & Stockcar action! Get your tickets online now via iTICKET below, from the Woodford Glen Shop, or at the gate from 4pm each day www.woodfordglen.co.nz/race-dates

Yep should be good except for the 12 ministock races over the 2 nights.Could be some traffic jams too without the pointsman over the railway line.Parking in Kaiapoi and walking over footbridge could be a better option.

If I go tomorrow and leave a couple of races before the end it shouldnt take too long to get out right I always watch the final race from near the main gate and as soon as the race is done go straight to the car and never have an issue Huge rut already developed about a car width high in turn 3, nearly turned a mini stock over

Has moved a bit slow, with a couple of false starts in both the Stockcars and Superstocks slowing it up. The racing is fast and with that many cars out there contact happens unintentionally. Stockcars 46c got put up the wall by her brother then while stricken on the front straight got tuned full noise by Robb taking out both cars
Dutchy put on a show in heat 1 of the saloons around the outside with no lifting

Not much to report, track is terrible and drivers more concerned about getting flatties out of the ruts than anything else
28s has been very fast so far

It wasn’t confirmation from the commentator but they infered he would be there
