There is a wire fence on the inside with steel poles. For a rolling openwheel car they are a serious risk. A lot of the stockcar tracks have this style of fence I'm watching the livestream of waikaraka right now and Azzuro you are 100% wrong about the catch fence at waikaraka, maybe some other tracks are like that but waikaraka definitely is not Agree I was incorrect. The issue with the fence being quite a way back from the wall is the ability to land upside down on the concrete. Racing has been good tonight - but it doesn’t seem like the crowd decided to venture across town. Not sure how they fix that with this being a pretty major event

I would have ventured across town but decided to go to Baypark instead.

Trying to catch up on the greatest news of the day takes some reading ,but you are so lucky to have a venue to go to such as speedway . Over the last seven days is certainly the saddest and cruelest days ive encounted in my life time ,the destruction is so horrific ,you dont know where to start first ,who could of ever thought it could happen in NZ.
