You might need something a bit stiffer than water to get through this one Barry! I've got my morphine and various other prescribed drugs that are my on my morning intake. I rattle if shaken Barry B

A very quick count reveals an approx. 440 lap schedule for this show
A lap a minute is very good efficiency in our sport. If they can keep up that pace for the entire meeting you're looking at a 7 1/2 hour show
Again, I wish them the best of luck

From the stream the track is actually allowing for some really good racing now. Rubber is very much down, but with the sun setting and the water they are putting on before every Modified race, it is a (slippery) two lane track.

63a Daniel Crumpe was going really well - then rolled. Missed a heat but at least will be back out.

It was just mentioned online that 46H is potentially into the final. He finished 5th in the B Main, so potentially someone has pulled out from the above.
Update: 96H out. Final row is now 36W and 46H.

Am reading 1NZ made a last corner pass to take the win, but the result is under protest and a possible relegation coming up to give 119h the title

The 30 lapper was a classic. Congrats to the 1nz Brad Lane, 2nz Jonas England and 3nz Luke Brown. Barry B

Avoidable contact looks about right. Not a lot of pole line cutting in the footage I just saw

From Petrolfumes video it looks like Luke was pretty hard done by there. He was well up the inside, Brad seems to turn down pretty aggressively once he realizes he's up the inside and contact is made wheel to wheel. Racing incident in my books

Well done Huntly
From watching the lap scoring it seems the meeting length was around 6 hours 45 minutes which was a phenomenal effort given the meeting schedule. Looks like the drivers had a decent track for the main event as well. A widening out process early, a dominant high line through the middle with the bottom being the preferred line late.
In terms of the officiating call I agree with the call made. If you look at the front end of 1nz through the incident it continues to point toward the wall until he hits 119h. No way he holds his line on the pole without using 119h as a bouncer. Whilst 119h does turn more once entering the corner, it appears his line through the middle stays relatively the same. Had 1nz been able to hold his line on the pole he could have made the pass but he doesn't and in my view is rightfully relegated two positions.
Yet another endorsement for one race finals. The best two drivers in the country battling head to head over the final laps is how titles should be decided.

Yes Huntly did a good job getting the meeting done : My concern is the Start time : They only allowed 2 hours 5pm start to run 15 Races : This put every thing 1 hour behind with Night 2 Races starting after 8pm With another 20 races to run including 2 x 20 Lappers for the Production Saloons and Minisprints This put every thing 1 hour behind with Night 2 Races starting after 8pm : Then add track prep The feature didnt run till 11.10pm Being a family entertainment sport I believe that puts off spectators :

Looking at it last night live and today online Luke is the winner. Brad was a clean act all night driving extremely well keeping out of trouble. Luke raced very a good race from behind in the 30 lapper and won in my opinion.

Great to see young Brad pick up this title ,and for his family ,and Scott and his ,and to think how this little young bugger always loved Super Saloons especially 66s when visiting the park ,his eyes would light up like a crystal ball ..
