Nice too see the clubs working together😀though Kikihiki did have their date first. And huntly are running what would’ve been their third 2 day meeting in consecutive weekends (if the nz stockcars had been able to run qualifying night) so I doubt this is thru any spite towards kk more just a case of getting what they have to do done before the end of the season. It wasn’t that long ago this time of year we were winding down the racing let alone holding national titles. Easter weekend was once the unofficial end of the season.

Looks like fifteen for Kihikihi ( March 11 Entries), and 12 for Waikaraka (included below). 7A Shay Hambling 12A Jamie Stanaway 15A Karl Pegg 25A Blair Bertram 51A Wayne Whittaker 52A David Hunter 63A Holly Marx 73A Bryce Marx 96A Jamie Fergusson 97A Aidan Eustace 221A Brooke Clarkson 741A Codi Chatfield The good news is strong locally registered presence across all three lists with 12, 7, and 9 respectively (A, H, K). The latter is even with no 1NZK, 4K (BotS), 26K (injured), and 75K.

Its a bit of a Shame the 3 Clubs didn't work together, could of been around 40 Superstocks at Kihihiki, they have only had one meeting this season, would of been good for their club,oh well 🙁

Think everyone just trying to get meets done. In saying that, Huntly and Waikaraka could have dropped them as their meets had other headline acts that didn't require superstocks as support.

If the NZ’s ran in January, I’d guess Huntly and KK would have got better numbers this weekend. Pretty sure the John Webster date is based around when the open wheelers are available and Superstocks has to run at this event, to honour John’s original event promotion KK only have 5 meeting to run (inc. today) and are praying for no more cancelled events. As it stands, the clubs needs to fit in the KC Saloon Champs and a Derby but the remainder of the season was already packed Crossing fingers an extra race day can be allowed in May, an afternoon meeting would be cool
