Alec Insley having a breakout season too, would not be shocked if he bagged a podium.

In the second heat Luke McClymont started at the rear and took the win in the last corner over Maskovich and Hunnibel

Luke started grid 2 and lead the whole way. 25 lap final. First yellow after 15 laps. Had 3 in the in end and Luke controlled the restarts well. Quite a few changes for minor places. Entertaining race.
The McClymont Dynasty continues. We'll done Luke & family

An inspired choice by Seamount Racing to get Luke McClymont into that seat
Always featured in the Six Shooter but was a little off the radar with regards to the traditional path into Midget racing

Back in the years when Jamie McCarthy and I commentated at Baypark they used to do podiums for all classes that raced that night in the club rooms afterwards. A very young Luke was 'The Stig', standing in for any driver that didn't show up. He probably stood on more podiums than any of the drivers. Barry B

Always remember chatting to him in the Rotorua clubs rooms after the NZ mods (late into the night ).
