Whatever happened to 1v8, 2v7 3v6, 4v5. . Would be a second night of first night racing! As in, 3 races to find the champ.

Thanks to the commentators who mentioned that it was a smoke and vape free venue, a few times on Saturday night.
Unfortunately there are still some people who are either ignorant or deaf, and who don't care about anyone else but themselves when vaping.

Pumas win the toss and are 3rd, Vulcans to face Young Guns & Rascals face off against Pumas - Young Guns v Pumas Final coming up. 100% there will be no run off. will be a coin toss. However with a few results not confirmed yet points may change Just to confirm. We (PN Pumas) never needed a runoff with Wanganui due to 3nzv being relegated in their last qualifying race from 3rd to 5th leaving P = 275 & V = 260 but before this became relevant were prepaired to do a runoff. In regards to the format I'm not saying it because of our result but I've never been a fan of it from its inception at Superstock Teams. The main thing I look at is in a Tier 1 Semi Final the last thing I'm reminding my lads about is points. When they head out on track they have one thing in mind and that is to get one of their team mates home first and if that means it ends up as three blockers then so be it. But the last thing on their mind is oh my team mates in second ill stay in third so we score more points. As it was we more than likely wouldve been in the race for 3rd but as 3nzv was limping to the line the yellows came on due to infeild celebrations so he was deemed a DNF which bumped cars up. But overall thats teams racing! To win 3 races and eliminate the defending champions, then back it up again on night 2 I'm proud as hell of the boys! If you want to attract teams back for night two then definatly run a Tier 2 / Plate Championship. I think if there was an actual award on the line for this yearly then teams would compete. Sure its not the one they want but maybe it could add to the seeding that teams 5-8 only risk drawing one of the 1-4 seeded teams next year if its not a group format. Either way bring on Paradise Valley!
