There was quite alot of chat around at Teams Champs that this could potentially be the last 1 for the Kings or there could possibly be a changing of the guard at the K. Now that Asher has registered to the G. I see Vickery is in a Super Saloon (unsure if he's done with Superstocks)??
Just creating speedway discussion (please keep our negativity out of it) Will we see the Kings at Teams Nationals in a month??

Do we know the history of the Super Saloon he's driving? I've even it on entry lists, but haven't seen it in real life - or any pics for that matter.

If Mitch has joined the Super Saloon ranks he will be joining a few others from the Super Stock ranks who have had a NZ number and made the transition either fully or running both classes . Jason Long,1NZ=18/19, 2 NZ=15/16, 20/21. Mitch Vickery 3NZ=20/21 Peter Bengston 2 NZ =14/15 Malcom Ngatai 1 NZ = 08/09 Mark Osborne = 3NZ =05/06

What are the thoughts of others.
Are Superstocks on the decline? Many drivers are changing back to Stockcars. $100,000 for a winning car is just getting too much for many now.

For those changing to saloons I think it will be looking after the body and less hard knocks. As for super drivers down grading to stocks not sure if I am aware of any. A mid superstock will cost the same as a top end stockcar. Some stockcar packages well exceed a decent superstock package. Each to their own and the budget they have and the class they want to run I spose.
