Oil setup was changed once again last week, and car was going good in the 1st race, until Wayne got a bit too sideways coming out of pit bend, and Horse had nowhere to go and clipped the front end.No major damage, just need a new caliper, disk(broke wheel bearing housing), and a few bolts

Hi there, Yes im sure the bonnets can be bought, as most of the tri rails have a similar bonnet.I will have to ask Wayne where the bonnet/body was bought from( memory faded ;D), but also one person to ask would be Brian Musgrove in wgtn, i can remember his name popping up in regards to the bodies/ bonnets Cheers Clive

Well we're home after a rather disappointing trip to palmerston north, the teams racing just didnt seem to go our way. Not too much damage to the car,a left front end replaced between races, and the gearbox shat itself in the second race(hence why the car spun at pascal bend and stayed there). Roll on the auckland teams champs

It was definately running well, could have gone up another 1000rpm by the end of the straight, but unfortunately didnt have the gearbox to match Without inspecting it, we think a dowel pin came loose when he went into the wall backwards in the nelson race(not going to comment on that hit and the one on bryce ), and went into the box seizing it in the second race after wayne put 14v into the wall. Such is life, bring on the auckland teams racing ;D (congrats to all the teams who raced btw )

Thanks for the pic pallmall I like the look of the car with the blue body on it better personally ;D Found the reason for no drive, the input shaft on the gearbox has completely sheared off At a guess id say the gearbox seized, and with the engine doing 6000 odd rpm, something had to give....
