Not sure if this subject his been bought up before but here goes. Any photos of Roys car?? This car was sold to Graham 'Grumpy' Nichollson here in Nelson. Had a Chev V8,Tony Mac type front suspension which didnt work in this car,Welded in bellhousing etc. The car was sold some years back but dont know where it went from here. Any ideas and or photos of when Roy or Grumpy had it ?? I saw Roy in a Teams Race in Blenheim when the car was quite new. Cheers in advance Pete

May of had a guest drive in it but never a full time deal. He had the sense to stay away from overweight, jumbo engined stockcars. I think it 'morphed' a bit in both directions under 'Grumpy"s ownership Nick did have a Suzuki bodied car in his early days which went to Palmy.I think Elmo4r had something to do with it in Palmy.

I am positive the ex Fowler car your referring to AutoPete was sold to Greg Roydhouse of Palmerston North.
I also recall another Fowler machine being sold to Palmerston North too. Gary Parkes guest drove it at a number of meetings. It was numbered 18p.
Certainly would be interested where the latter mentioned car is now.

Thanks Frued and Elmo, knew you guys would remember for me. The latter Fowler car was the LAST (?) car that Pete Robinson built for Murray Teece (Dad of present 7n Stockcar-Cody) Had Ford V8 , quickchange diff etc. I saw it in Palmy when Gary P drove and it wasnt going too bad still. That was some years back now though!!

Answer to Freud and Auto pete, the last Fowler car that went to Palmy as 18p was then sold to 28k Grant Mytton and Mitty ran it for two seasons before buying his current Gordge of Rowlands, his old car he still has and is almost ready again from what i have been told. ;D

Awesome work guys...all these minds working as one.
Does anybody recall the name of the guy who owned the last Fowler machine in Palmerston North.
I remember his nickname was "snugs" (or something similar) and he was the manager of placemakers in Feilding.
