Here are my shots of the Gareth Prentice Tank which is now in the hands of Beatle, and is currently for sale; Please ignore the date mark - broken camera setting that I couldn't turn off!!!! Loved the colour scheme - waaaaay better than the yawn yawn red & yellow

thanks for the shots Superford - I too thought it was a KP tank when it appeared such was the standard, and similarity with the genuine articles. In fact, in my humble opinion it should be alongside the Robertson tanks. Is this the debut colours? I honestly recalled it in the ho hum red black and yellow debut colours for some reason. Either way, immaculate, and a ture descendant, in my humble opinon Thanks agian for the shots.

Holy sh*it! I forgot how the car used to look.Terrible was'nt it must say looks better now with a few scars on it.Officially I've always described my car as a Podjurski copy.Built by Gareth Prentice with Tony Hardacre.Gareth sold it to Gommans who sold it to me. The 64b Tank is not for sale,It will have a rebuild and spruce up and I will be team racing it next season. Cool photos guys and I also think it should be recognised as Tank number ?

Hey fella's, mate of mine just started working on a farm just out of Stratford, One of the Neil McCoard Tanks was built in a workshop on the farm, wouldnt have a clue which one, didnt realise he had a couple, The owner of the joint asked me if anyone knew what happened to the tank ie has it been scrapped or still racing out there? , cheers

G'day, so the 19s car for sale on Mac's pages at the moment lies where in the Tank-semi tank equation? quoted as being an ex tank, i read the thread but may have missed it, cheers. ps the evans tank on the sale pages looks like a pretty good buy. Z

I reckon the photos might be 10 years apart, but with the same number you'd go close to thinking its the same bloke....whose name escapes me. The bottom photo was from season before last. Was fast, but he hit everyone. Tony....?? no doubt someone will help out on this. Incidentally both of these photos were further back i the thread, but thats where things are at.

Thanks ferg. great photos. I think they were taken the first night it went to the track. The car was built off 1 photo that Paul had I think of Dave Evans car.I had never even seen a tank at that time.Paul just came to me with the photo and said build me one !Made it and never got to even drive it on the trailer.Went great your dad drove it well used it as a tank should be .Last I saw it had the plate sides taken off and normal type side rails fitted.!Few years back now. Probably scrap now.
