Hi All, see this beast is up for sale - just wondering if it still runs the two shocks on the left rear, and if anyone knows much about how it works. Cool car, has always been one of my favourites. Gary Trotter 05/06 A&P Show night at Palmy North   06/07 Manawatu Stockcar Champs    Very cool car It was on Trade Me some time back, did it sell? The 2 shock deal was on the car when Dutchy had it built. Jason Moir and team just transferred everything over to the new chassis they built. Jase had pretty much beaten that Kuriger to death. The front ran VW torsions with remote shocks mounted down along the chassis inside the outriggers. On the back had Carrera Coils on Carrera Shocks and PK added the little shock on its own to act like a "tie down" shock for the left rear on a slick track. At the time Carrera didnt make the wizzy valved shocks like you can get now so it was PK at his best making something outta nothing again, Old skool tech now but made the beast hook up then and probably still slays them. Its the same setup as on the gordge stockcars now 6p,71w last time i saw them.No shock beneath coil just holds the spring acts like a slider,American saloon technolgy from the books i've read,Malcom Nagtais car has two shocks on lr now.
Josh Hancocks Kuriger has silmilar setup and Donald did also.
Amazing how these old setups disapear then a different concept of them comes along later on.
Joblins gone to torsion rear last year on 52p and went well,people are willing to step outside the box to gain a little advantage over there rivals.

Ahhhh Got ya now BB.
Trouble was that this thread is about Jason Moirs cars and the Ashkettle deal is a hi jack LOL.
