The way those bars drops down to the bumper reminds me of a Huntly car driven by Wayne Warrender at one time. Would have been in the 90's though.

Found a photo from around 2002/03 when Paul was racing it, not much help, but I will keep looking for some earlier ones. There's me at the front, Nev Langdon out by the wall and I think the blue car is Craig Collins (10a?). Is this the same Craig that raced for the allstars at the Palmy Teams as listed earlier in the thread? The 10a car, what body is that? That would be perfect for my new weapon.

Looks like, from that angle to me,a cut down A40 Farina or Morris 1100 shell.

The blue car is 48a todd julian in the first car he ran,and if you look really closley you can see the 26a of les heart behind 92a.Craig collins would of been running as 42a at this stage with a red chassis and yellow body ,bonnet, wing. Then Bought an ex Ashton car ex 22h and ran as 10a and for the alleycats a few years later. Also had a stint in the number 3 evans tank cheers

Had anymore luck Paul? I was to the understanding from Ed that he had built the car himself back in the 80s. It did sit for a couple of seasons at one stage and then re appeared painted in RMC Racing colours along with Stuart Jefferies 56a, this car was 156a and Ed only ran it a few times. It was red chassis, yellow bonnet and body. That was the last it was seen till you appeared with it, whatever season that was. I will find out what year it was in RMC colours as my step-father was the one towing to the track.
Some up-dated pics would be good. ;D

Does anyone have the history of the 29a and 31a tony collins panelbeaters cars in the background of the 28a car,i used to own and race one of them as 13a orange/blue mad butcher car between 1998 and 2000 orange/blue before that it was the 43a of mark smith

The 29a & 31A cars where built by Craig Collins and ? Smith in 1987, they where identical cars running ford V8 engines, both cars run for Auckland at palmerston the same year along with Dutchie, ian Berry and Noel Hawthorne. Both cars had teething problems at Palmy and Auckland never qualified.
