If it is the McCabe car it never even got out of the shed this year despite registering at the start of the season It is the ex TMac/Gray chassis. Keith is now a Courier driver as the Fishing is no good. May explain the absence this season due to setting the run up etc. Maybe next season?? Keeps in contact with Dennis Andreassend so is still up to speed with whats going on around the joint. I will try and see if I have any Palmy pit photos from my time there. Nice shots Elmo etc.brings back some great memories!!

Dutchy.. The always immaculately presented 24H Kuriger - can't remember who 55p is alongside but it's obviously a Parkes chassis, and sitting in the background is Barry P's 94 NZ Champ car now with a Ford Y and P on the side One from the other side - is the 88w alongside Wayne Hemi?? If it is the GREEN Waka then I'm assuming this is the car that went on to win the Gisborne 2002 NZ Champs?? 0R is Robbie Mabey

The soon-to-be Red Waka??.. What's the story behind this Gordge HotRod - I seem to remember something about this being a new ride for Rex Nield, how did it end up in the hands of Wayne Hemi?? Looks like the same car as the GREEN Waka I was asking about above

Request please for a photo of the Green Waka on its own. The green car is the same car as the ex Neild car in the photos, became Red Waka the 1st and 1NZ at Gisborne.

Is the 0R, Robbie Mabeys first car. The reason I ask is that Ive been told that his first stockcar was the 2nd Kuriger spaceframe built which he acquired from Hawkes bay, Initially it was thought the first Kuriger had been in the Bay as can be read in an earlier Kuriger thread, However my contacts suggest it was the second Kuriger built. His first car went to PN and then to Wellington Perhaps a thread or photos of Robbies cars could be started to provide more info and not hijack this good thread

How's this for a dummy grid... Uncertain of year, at a guess World 240's 1993 (Podjursky's last season in his 92 NZ Champ winning car pictured??) Manawatu Sportsnews Photo Would that be Barry Brown with his lens sticking out, talking to Freeballs? Is that 96s? of Barry Podjursky is that car still running somewhere?

i certainly think cars of this era are very good looking and are very presentable yet still have a certain "stockcar" look about them. They look like they are meant to hit.. definatly a differnent image compared to our hotrods today, some of the cars today you'd to too affraid you were going to scratch the paintwork

One of Joe Faram's first cars in foreground(Kuriger??? now Jeff See's 14s???), trackmate Steve McCafferty alongside(was this a Penn chassis), and 16p??? the 16p would be the standard stock of Paul Tyler, the Chassis was started by Wayne Cavanagh and finished by Paul Tyler and Paul Vasey, I think that the car was sold to Auckland (Darren Scott)? and later appeared in Wellington, I have lost track of it since then, is it still around? Cheers Numbum

That car went to the hands of Jason Moir 69n and went through a few more hands until it was cut up to build a new car(Only the bottom rails and rear uprights still left) which,to my knowledge, never made it to the track. Was reported to be in Blenheim/Picton to be run as a Stockcar.

Antzgofast is going to be in heaven when he sees this thread, and I suspect he will post lots of his awesome photos. ;D I am going to post this one of his, he put it on the trirail thread, but I have cropped it a bit into what I think is a great photo, and a bit of old and new in TMac design.
