The 138 Hunter Rocketship was one of the best looking cars in the day , and would still take some beating today .

Time to pick up where I left off.. Freeballs.. #36 registered to Kihikihi On loan to Paul Harrison?? at Palmy's World 240s - I'm trying to remember who the car in the background belongs to, I think it had some connection to Gary Parkes possibly?? (Ekins Photo)

I do tend to get a little lost with some off these chassis's down this way. Would anyone have a series off pictures off Wayne Green built cars. I know that he was intrumental in a nimber off Parkes cars, and off course the Whitcome 2p.

Short-Term Panthers.. Keith Haley contracted from Wellington to Palmy in the mid 90's and raced for the Panthers - Keith had 2 cars to choose from for a time, not sure if that's the bumper of his other car to the right of photo or not, the 88p Chris Ash Standard Stock is on the left. I can't remember if Peter MacDonnell 54p ever raced for the Panthers or not, but he was certainly entertaining the few seasons he was in action on the Showgrounds Oval

54p peter, did race for the panthers,i videoed him in the teams race when the panthers beat the world team at palmy. Pete Mac went through more front bumpers than I would ever care to remember!!! I had a hand in many repairs over his short career. I was there when he was told he was in the Panthers and you would think all his Christmas's came at once!!! Very dedicated to the cause but unfortunately there was the time to come that he was KO'd and headed infield which the Mac's Towing truck saved the day.Pete ran into the back of it while he was asleep. This wee incident was the beginning of the end for him.
