I think there will be two shows of it leaving NZ no show and .............
As stated the invited drivers will surely take care of that.

I'd just like to say well done the Pommy lads who took part. The formula these lads represents does not have anything like the pool of drivers that the Standards can draw upon and that so many made the trip and that they represented themselve so well is a credit to the V8 Hotstox formula in the UK.
It was also heartening to see so many Kiwi lads over for the equivalent fixture last season.

I think this weekend will just keep getting bigger and bigger, and quite possibly surpass many of the Superstock so-called "majors" as far as spectacle goes. A few more visiting cars for qualifying, and a few less local cars through to the finals, and it'd be just about perfect. Still favour a 30 car final personally as well, with the extra 2 spots coming from Friday night qualifying.
In saying that though, Rotorua had 4 through from pre-qualifying, another 5 from the Friday night, and still couldn't get one of their number across the line first, even on their home track.
Rotorua is already 2 cars down on this time last year too, as both the WoS and SiP winners in 2007 were locals. This time it's a 'P' and an 'M' that have grabbed to first 2 positions on the grid. Roll on 2009.
