Your car was outside but where were you tonight Murray. With a small field of saloons racing I thought you might have come and raced. There were out of town stockcars at the track. I hope they were holding you back from playing in the sandpit.

Correct, car sat on it's trailer, race ready. Our SNZ vice-President and promotor at Baypark, Willie Kaye, replied to my request to race with one word (was expecting two), NO. He did my wife a favour, she wasn't happy I was prepared to add to the ever depleting saloon numbers at Baypark. I joined the 1800 or so spectators.

well done murray. a great initiative and simple idea to boost interest etc but alas no bite. such a gesture at any other track vacinity would of been snapped up im sure. maybe your positive nature and energy would be utilised and more appreciated elsewhere

How many years is the promotion contract at Baypark, Does it come up for renewal every 2-3 years etc?, when is the next chance for someone to apply for the contract?

Years Coolpass. Bob didn't sell the Speedway Promotions when he sold the track and leased it to Willie who is doing what he wants with it.
