Looking good Sonja. Sure looks like the Rotorua boys have been saving their toys for this meeting, 21 entered but have only seen half that on track at one time. You would just about have to put money on a R car taking the honours but with all the talent that entered its a tough call. Where's Pee Wee 2NZ and the Tank Commander 8P. Great to see Rose stepping up and having a crack. When was the last female competitor at the Nth Islands. The 2nd round of the Ollie Memorial wet the appetite nicely, counting the sleeps.

Where's Pee Wee 2NZ and the Tank Commander 8P. Great to see Rose stepping up and having a crack. Rees is racing at the Stockcar Teams Champs in Wellington on the same two days. I realise date clashes are inevitable, still doesn't make them any less frustrating for the few fans that would've loved to attend both meetings tho! Not sure what Miers is up to, holidaying perhaps. As a side note, I was hugely impressed with Rose's driving at the NI Stocks last weekend, was fast and aggressive. Great hit on 74r to try and take a heat win, and it looked like she was the only one to even think about a swipe at Dale at one point.

I watched 74r Mike Hohneck give Rose a serve on Saturday and she recovered quick to track him down and give him a double serve in return . Did much the same to anyone else that caused her grief too .Impressive!!.
Goodness knows what she might do in a Superstock .

Where is scrutineering being held? I like taking pics during scrutineering as there are not so many people standing in front of cars.

Public are most welcome to Vehicle Checking but you will have to come through the pit gate and there is no eft pos available on that gate.
Practise has changed from 4 - 5pm

I know this has been said before but we would have definitely come for our first visit to Rotorua speedway for the NIs but for the clash with the NZ teams champs. Its looking like it will be an awesome event. Never mind we have already booked accommodation for the 240s that should be every bit as good for our first spectator experience at Paradise Valley. Hope the championships is a great weekend for all involved.
