Informed that Penn nailed Hunter off the start line and McCabe was in good form blocking for Hemi. Lace nailed Jamieson in retirubution for the race before...note that none of the Palmy cars mentioned live anywhere Palmy, thought I'd mention that before anyone else did

Wayne Hemi is just lucky that the SNZ ref's were as blind as normal......completely missing Hemi with all four wheels on the grass overtaking Ashby!!!!!! Fraser should be the new North island champ!!! happened right in front of us in turn four.....

Congrats to Wayne Hemi it could of been a R that would of won if some of there team mates who had no chance had helped them by taking out the likes of Wayne. But on a high note good on Glen Drabble and Horse for having a go. Was good racing and even had a run off between Lala and Keven Roberts for 1st place in the stocks in PARADISE. Won by Keven ofter Lala spun himself out. But all in all was a good nights racing.

deserved win by Wayne Hemi , was the class act all weekend and the pole line incident was nothing worth mentioning . Ross Ashby was the only one really to have a go at the Waka and it was he that Hemi bounced off and over the pole line for a very short distance .

I will agree with Macgor on that one. Hemi did not pass on the grass, he bounced off a failed attempt by Horse, & ended up on the infield. Wayne Hemi drove the perfect meeting from start to finish. Well done.

Congrats Mr Hemi on your NI title. Hope you get a chance at the GP
Well done to Fraser. Good to hear that he is peddling stong. Miss the days of you being brutal, but atleast your having fun with more horsepower
Scotty well deserved mate, you have had some rides in your last few seasons of being a dark horse, good to see you got a poduim.
No doubt congrats to all drivers & rotorua speedway.
See you all at the 240's

As if horse could of won the darn thing anyway? Or fraser for that matter,as he had every chance to win it,(ie 3 races 3 chances) as wayne did,but could not match the pace of the waka!!!Like previous posts have stated, hemi BOUNCED off horse on to the infield!!! And you say this happened RIGHT IN FONT OF YOU IN TURN FOUR I bet if the WAKA had an R on the side of his car you would have said it was a fine passing manouvre?? Anyway like i predicted in the make your picks for the NI SUPERSTOCK started by MAK 1 (plug lol) THE RED WAKA ALL THE WAY!!!! Enough said

Huh??? who ever said horse was in with a chance??? and yes i congratulate all three drivers on their placings.....but over the years i have seen drivers disqualified for far less than the Hemi incident, i recall hemi being disqualified for a similar thing a few years back at the palmy teams.....
Anyway, i don't disagree that hemi was the standout driver of the weekend in speed and cunning all i am saying is some ref's may have pinged him for that move, bouncing off or not..... ;D
