No-one really shone at last nights round of the South Island series in Nelson. Tough track in a super, Richie Taylor the pick of them but there were also a few cars missing.

Great to hear theres going to be quite a few NI's coming to the mainland and making a week of it.
Just no damage please in the NZ's or hoopla as we'd love to see a good field for the GP

1st Keegan: due for a NZ title & on form
2nd: wildcard Mike Verdona, home track looked impressive at nelson
3rd: Gregory if he stays out of trouble?
4th: Macca on form out wide, passing in traffic?
5th: McInteer got the goods but car better suited to the bigger tracks.

Yeah I agree it is a bit of a lottery, wonder when the first TAB form comes out, a week or two prior?, that will be interesting cause they wont have a glue either: might be some good $25 to win bets to get on early  |

I'm sorry to say it there are some guy that wont be making the NZ Supers due to the time of year and the distance away from home and the pure cost of attending. They could attend say 4 meetings in the north for the same money.

Obviously the guys you talk about "salooncar" are not interested
in a national title otherwise they would attend. I believe there are
4 race meetings that are available to attend around the NZ Title week so that gives everyone(if they are good enough)a chance to grab some of the money on offer. I'm sure the NZ Title will be a good event & good luck to all those who attend.

Not sure you are totally correct there, there will be competitors in all classes that choose to not attend events including NZ Titles purely on the cost ... that is the real world. I will suggest that this will only get worse. Anyway I know i will have a great time. Obviously the guys you talk about "salooncar" are not interested in a national title otherwise they would attend.
