Awesome racing and win to 58P - Peter Bengston, close as though. 2nd Scott Redfern and 3rd Roydon Collingwood after runoff with Frankie Wainman...
With Bengston in the Panthers and the NZ's coming up is going to make it interesting at Palmy then Wanganui. Redfern was always a favourite and proves to be quick around Vegas and who knows if Collingwoods car didn't play up at the North Islands, would have been interesting. Stiil shows that Roydon is still an awesome driver and yes so close to winning a 3rd World 240s.
Congratulations to Peter Bengston and all his crew - awesome...

Congrats to Peter Bengston! He's been a real consistent and quiet achiever for a few years now. Pretty sure he also won the Easter champs at paradise valley a few years back in the palmy promotion owned car- a car that not a a lot of drivers have been able to get much pace out of. Shows his talent and also his liking for the rotovegas track. He used to be a runner, but over the past couple of years has beena devastating hitter for the panthers too. Reminds me of Tony Mac with his smooth driving style

Bengsten is one of my racing heroes for his great track presance ans tactics on track and his humble nature off the track. Go the 58p team. Scotty 96h, legend of a driver and talking to you in the pits, we could all see the happiness in your face after heat 3 Also big hailz to Chucky 77p for being a great character in the pits.

Fully agree and well done Mr Bengston. Always been a huge fan of his fully commited and aggresive style of racing and it was always only gonna be a matter of time before he scored one of the majors.
Also a big well done to Chucky Norris for his well deserved 5th place. Great to see some new blood at the pointy end of the field at the big meetings

It's a win for the Wairarapa As Peter lives in Eketahuna its technically a win for the Tararua district as Eketahuna falls outside the Wiarapa district. Since we are being precise...

I'm showing my age thinking of the old Wairarapa region. I guess when you live it area with almost no speedway connections one takes what one gets . All we need is for Kim Lace to win the Global Challenge and it will be my regions finest week of the season. Anyway back to the topic Mr Bengston is certainly a deserving winner, I'm sure he will become 1NZ sooner or later.
