Going on posts and points. Thought Penn would have helped other Palmy drivers for heat three rather than run for the win. He only had 26 points going in. Wud have taken good points and lots of the cars ahead of him to be taken out for a top result.
Not sure if I have seen him in block mode even after having a dnf in early heats. Same thing at the Nth Islands

good nights racing, not as much action as I might have thought in the final tho. Moment of the night for me was in the second heat when the supertanker got spun on last corner....no time to turn around so chucked it in reverse and headed off down the straight full speed backwards, went up the wall and almost caught fire.

Was an awesome night, was a shame that Shane Penn 3NZ didn't finish the 1st race after winning the 2nd and 3rd races. Steve Hampton's new 66R sounded like a motorbike when it did a couple of hotlaps at the end of the night, looked awesome though.

The new Hampton 66R (V6) certainly sounds like no other Superstock. I'm sure it will still stand out in a 26 car field. Apparently Palmy fans will get to see Kelvin Grey piloting this exciting new machine in the Global Challenge this weekend.......and at the NZ Champs at Wanga's next month.
