Sorry in advance as I know this is for race cars missing in action etc, but hey memory lane is a good place also I was just wondering if there were many photos out there of the Gisborne standard stock teams history. I am interested to see my father Wayne's 43g car, now owned by Russ Foley of Auckland/Rotorua. If anyone has anything then that is much appreciated

Hey Russ, glad to see you still have the old girl. Hope to see you race again soon, last time I seen you peddle, you left a few cars worse for wear round the track. That was a good few years ago now. Hopefully at this years 240's we can have a catch up. Cheers Clive bro, hope your car is getting on well. Pallmall, thanks for the effort with the photos. I believe that the photo you have of 4g is Mike Beale, I dont think that is the same chassis. But I dont really know? Thanks guys, be good to see more history of the 4g,43g,391r & also any Eastland Eagles archives Cheers

Thanks Baron & Gary for the info. It would be awesome, to try and hunt out some photos of the old yellow 4g when you owned it Gary. Ill try and get some photos of the car's history in its time in Gisborne. If anyone else has any teams photo's from 1994 thru 1999 for the Eastland Eagles, then that would be awesome, or some photos from Huntly NZ std stock Champs in 1997, then that would be much appreciated. Regards

1997 Photo from in front of the Roseland Tavern, sponsor of the team at the time. The 43g is the car that Gary Harding/Mike Beale used to own & Russ Foley has now. The 4g is Lisa Williams in Lily the Pink 0g 111g is Gary Moore in the old 13b Trevor O'Brien machine 44g Jason Hutton, pretty sure that was self built 8g Bruce Harding, not sure on the history of that car Thats the only photo i've got sorry guys

Thanks Gregobro couple of good photos there.
8g Bruce Harding, 91g Alistar Scragg, 51g Kevin Dunlop, 69g Glen McIntosh
Looks year 2000ish to me, the nearly upset the Alleycats if memory serves.
If you have any from 1999 Auckland Teams that would be wicked, that was Wayne 43g's last season with the car... Sad times (Same year I got my learners lol)

111g Gary Moore
44g Jason Hutton
8g Bruce Harding
and myself 61A/K/G Jamie Bryant and Kirk Rolls 56A/G filled in to complete the team at the 99/00 Teams Nats at Huntly. We lost to Huntly, then Rotorua (where my car was wrecked) then the boys got Gizzys first team win in std's against Wellington. The lads were stoked, and it was great to race with such a cool bunch of fellas.
