I really feel sorry for the guys who repaired the damage to the concrete wall in "McPherson's Corner" last season when the greater speedway community actually likes seeing holes being knocked into it.
I wonder if Regens going to do even better things this weekend?
That lineup for Golden Oldies is looking good too... I wasn't planning on filming any of the support races this weekend (owing to the amount of time allocated to processing teams footage, there will be a lot, more on that later) however this has prompted a rethink and I will be filming that.

There will be some more Golden Oldie stockcar legends in the Historic Stockcar Club mobile demonstration on Saturday night. Expect to see 8H Graham "Snoopy" Smith in the restored Snoopy, 1978 NZ Champion Graham Mitchell in the #17 replica Ford sedan, and a real golden oldie in Laurie Brunt in his #37 Pontiac sedan, or maybe a surprise car, Laurie started racing stockcars nearly 50 years ago and has driven loads of other speedway classes. Also due to appear is Gary Wike in NZ's oldest stockcar in its 1958 NZ Team paint work.

Bourbon, apple juice and cups of tea, Porry... that might help shed some weight There a biblical aspect from drinking Old Crow, for example. One could lose weight through the eye of a needle after drinking that stuff.
