Well from my view there was plenty of carnage in the 1st Stockcar race. Including myself, im no longer a concrete virgin!!! The force of the impact snapped off the steering rack However had a blast couldnt wipe the smile off my face ;D Just a long wait till the next meeting now

not a very good start to the season for stockcar 22k electrical issues at the first meeting thort i had fixed. Got it fixed after the first race ended up being abit of rubber on the coil lead now we have steering problems that weren't their last season hopefully we can get it sorted before the next meeting where ever that maybe. ;D Thanks to all the out of towners for coming & having a skid with us.

My repair bill is adding up and I haven't got half way thru the car yet !!
2 x snapped shocks (only 2 meetings old) 2 x bent shocks (2 meetings old) 3 bent or broken chrome molly radius arms 2 bent/broken panhard arms and chassis mounts 1 bent chrome molly trailing arm alloy radiator steering arm battery (1 meeting old) electric fan (2 meetings old)
and still have parts to pull out. The engine block has pulled most of the bolts or broken the lugs. The bell housing sheered off the firewall.
Oh, and a stiff neck, plenty of bruises and a headache. Maybe the head ache was from the crew giving me grief about busting the car up so bad all on my own !!
Thats what you get for trying the high line after the water truck has dumped its lot out there !!
Oh well, thats motor sport.
Cheers- Rick

Just a long wait till the next meeting now It is a long wait but I reckon it will be worth it to have a new track thats a little more conducive to good racing. The banking should be enough to help the wide tyred classes without hurting the contact classes. While it will also give them a chance to get some clay in that holds moisture a little more effectively than whats currently there. Most of the K drivers I have spoken to are planning to do a heap of traveling over the big break which will be good for the other tracks plus it will lift the clubs profile a bit.
