Agreed Chequebook, Steve is no different to anybody else, just another driver, hell he even spends as much time cutting the grass as anybody else, na, think he does it more. There was an incident on the back straight with the 61a car but it was nothing, just 2 drivers wanting the same spot. Was good to see some saloon car racing without the demo derby. Toogood is fantastic to watch and once again showed hes the man to beat. As for the modifieds, i thought it was very fast and great racing, Scotty won the 2nd heat with a collapesed wing and drove the wheels off to get infront of 6a in the final heat. 29E is a great driver to watch and i hope we will see him in Statford come the NZs. Overall for the night it was great racing, having not been to WP for 12months nothing seems to change with the running of the show, but it was a good track surface and made for fast racing.
P.S- Aaron dribble, we dont wana hear you deep breathing into the mike during the racing and as for grandad commantator, you need to look at the cars and the drivers list so your getting the right car, class and number for whom your talking about.
8/10

well lets get back on topic ! I wasn't there as I have said the same thing as steve "I won't go back to wp" but what upset you the fact that a driver showed he was pissed off and said "he won't be back" or the fact that that driver was steve williams. who people seem to think that is different than the rest of us, "steve just another bare bum in the shower" thanks for the comment. first of all i would like to say i am not picking on steve williams just because of his profile. i would do the same for any other driver and i would expect the same to come my way should i behave in the same manner. as aaron drever has said on a previous post it was snz holding up results not the asscc. but yet mr williams said he would never return to waikaraka. now im confused! is there something more to why he wont return? i will apologise however for what i said about him on my first post about him possibly being pissed off with actions from another car(61a), i was wrong and thanks to aaron drever who pointed out it was because of results being held up. i will however not apologise about being disgusted about his reaction during prizegiving. again, thanks for comments

I think you'll find theres a number of things over the years which may have lead to the comment,
weather its Snz or Wp at fault with the hold up.
both partys are at the same track,

Thanks Waikaraka for once again putting up a very good track, really enjoyed the close racing and had a happier result than last weekend. It was a pity that Softie and Steve Louden were both out for the final races, and a few others to make up the total number of cars, it would have been great to have everyone that started finish with no damage. The atmosphere in the pits was friendly, the track great, the food was just marvellous, and the weather balmy. Put another face to a name, met Rissa in the club rooms, and Bikeboy is becoming another familiar macgorian. Encountered an accident on the way home down the Bombay Hills, luckily the first for a good long time. This will be our last meeting till the DHL, so please everyone have a Merry Christmas, and drive carefully out there.
