Overhead Baypark 30 December at 9.45am ... Forecast is for 23 degrees with a 40% chance of rain during the day and 30% tonight. Mostly cloudy at the moment and 22 degrees. 10:10am and it's clearing over Mount Maunganui (take a walk to the top - awesome) ...

Just got home from Himitangi Beach near Palmerston North after great Wellington meeting and rainout at Palmy , so please put on some fine weather for the lost sailors and speedway tonight at baypark

A lot of ifs and buts ... Hopefully the track was prepared and sealed before any heavy rain. If not, the weather improving might be too late. Join drw99m and 'cross fingers'.

Oh to be a promoter, YEH RIGHT. Called in to see for myself the track condition at 12:30pm. Willie was well organised, phone running hot! A lot of water sitting around - Think I would have called it off ... Just as well as I'm not a promotor as I'd be kicking myself now!

well all was go and it was a good night overall the track had come right after saturdays mishap. Allard won the feature sprintcar race with dahm and wood runners up
