It amazes me how a fuel tap can be turned off in the pits, and u back out of your park, line up to dump grid in pits, belt check. Then drive onto track do 3/4s of a lap to line up for start of race and not notice its not running right - lack of fuel and could of called 3min bell. Must have very small fuel consumption not to run out before start of race. ( must be flying high). PS. Its different for u guys to put a hat around to pay $375 too 222E to take me out on last race NZ Title 07/08. ~~~~ Is this sportsmanship.~~~ ? (((((Stone brothers racing))))) I would have to agree, My old 253 V8 would have shut down and wouldn't have even lasted getting on to the track after backing out, dummy grid etc.........Are you sure its wasn't a case of the tap not being turned on properly and then vibrating itself off again. food for thought.

Every year the streetstock class can be guaranteed to provide more of a show off the track than on and its got to the point where the class is nothing but an embarassment to speedway as a whole.

But ((( YOU ))) need to hear both sides of the story before you call me a cheat. Speedway Rules G10-1-1( Must be sign by protesting driver) wasn't signed... G10-1-5 ( 10 Min's to protest) not a hour and half... G13-8-6 (Top 6 cars to be re-checked) How many cars there this weekend that shouldn't be racing? ??

Then would of seen some red faces. But the point I made the top 6 or none. After being locked in the SNZ Hut how would u feel. ( Being single out) SNZ red cap pushing my pit crew around I just had enough. Mr M Bolton drove all the way 2 picton police to lay a assault charge agents me. 86i/289i and who are you mummiof2

I gotta say, when I first read this thread (before it degenerated into an off topic slanging match) that I had some doubts as to whether someone tampered with the tap or it was forgotten to be turned on in the pits or it vibrated off. For the car to travel as far as it did , running on what was left in the fuel line and the carby, seems pretty amazing to me.

This is such a shocking thing to say. Sure there are problems but to belittle the class as a whole. So wrong.Streetstocks provide some of the best speedway action around and as i referee cause a few headaches but action is so worth any trouble

The class is an embarassment and does nothing at all for the image of the sport other than reinforce the mentality held by many that speedway is a bogans sport. How many more farces masquerading as NZ Titles, will the class deliver before the pin gets pulled?
