Great result & congratulations to the top 3 guys.Good to see Dennis slip into the top 3 basically un-noticed all weekend. In typical Dennis bolt fashion he was there when he needed to be.

thats going to be a race and a half that is, the way Donavon and more importantly Orchard have been flying this year, the GP SHOULD be one helluva nights racing. Its being run on the time trials, heats, dashes, b main, a main type format. All we can hope for is a track like we had for the Sprintcar GP and it'll be a spectacle

I wanted to say that we really enjoyed the Super Saloon Champs and were happy for all three winners particularly Dennis Bolt who did exactly what he needed to do to place at the champs. Congratulations to he, Dean and Shane. I was a little critical of the track on the first nite but like a few other people I feel that was our fault and no one elses. Shane Maaka said he would produce a good track and he did. Where I and a few others got it wrong was thinking that it was going to be nice and smooth. The BP guys seem to adapt best to the bumps ( as I guess they do at BP ) and drivers like Greg Keenan who excel on a smooth and slick track really struggled. The track was drivey on both nites, all nite, and as Murray quite rightly pointed out the track got better as the nite wore on which is not typical of many tracks at all. Other enjoyable parts of being at Cromwell : The friendly people that volunteered their services The great driving and very few protests ( one, the whole meet I think ) The weather The food on offer and the prices of it The non contact production racing ;D The kids being able to sit on the cars The shape of the track The ability to sit in cars at the track or on blankets/ chairs The only thing that I was disappointed on was missing out on a black shirt in my size. I asked about tshirts in a earlier thread but got no response and was too late on the nite. My partner did ( all that matters really ;D ) and really likes hers. To Phil, Shane and all the volunteers that worked tirelessly before and during the meeting a big thank you and a very well done. You have done both Cromwell and Speedway proud, great stuff !

Well done Shane, Dean and Dennis. Three of the nicest guys in the sport. Clean and fast all the way. Cromwell club, thank you for being so welcoming, we enjoyed being there and had a blast. (apart from the bumps) I must say I am really happy to have my old number back, there is a little pressure that comes with 1 2 or 3 But I do think it is only right to display the number if you got it out of respect to all the other drivers that tried. Cheers Josh
