hey there pallmall no I am 99 % sure the the ian elsworth car ex whittaker is not the ex stanway car 100% that it came from Shane Penn - Tony Whittaker - Ian Elsworth - broken up/ chassis to std stock/running gear to Westbury chassis. There is a thread on it. I just wasn't sure if Ian had another car before that. Somebody must know more about the 1R Stanaway car, or did it spend a lot of time away from the track?

Has anyone got pics of the Simon Blakiston 114r Gordge? Yes, the Dolly 1 photos will be along soon, just waiting for an update on the new owner. Last I heard Simon was just waiting for the cheque to clear. As mentioned before I have had a clean up of the thread and taken out some of the posts that got a bit off topic. I do appreciate all the input, questions and answers, thanks everybody.

Another top Gordge in Rotorua, who is going to be the #1 driver of it?

Murray Harrison driving the Red Waka 1 is starting to haunt me, I just found these photos from a late 2003 meeting at Waikaraka of it with the 6A teams body Neil McCoard in the Toyota McGordge is 4R, now 16A Aaron Headington's car.

Copied from the Wayne Wilding thread: After 2 very frustrating part seaons with this car jason has taken all of the running gear out of it and now has a new mcmurdo chassis which should make an appearence before the end of the season. Jason had a hit in the front that just bent the whole front of the chassis, he then repaired it all (and hopefully made it stronger) and then went to palmy and exactly the same thing happened to the car but it bent futher back this time. So now i'm guessing it is pretty much scrap steel. Would have to say that its not the greatest car that Mr Gordge has built. « Reply #26 on 1/16/09 at 7:28pm » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From Mr Gordges mouth..."This deal will only last about 3-4 seasons and then once it starts to move and bend, even God himself wont stop it!!" I was there when he told Chris Allen and hey presto its lasted just a bit longer than first expected!! Just coz a car is great in its early years doesnt mean it will always be great eh?? by PeteMuckle55 Message from Jason Moore : Just letting you know i have attached a photo of the Gordge Chassis Pipe Car. It hasn't been scrapped, it is sitting in my garden at home as a souvenir!Replaced photo 20-03-09 as jason sent me wrong one the first time
