Hey very cool shot of #7P Nolly, well done. Here's a pic I took at the rained out Manawatu Stockcar Champs meeting, apparently one of the cars going slideways is #51P It's been cropped using MS Paint, but I like it. Go Slideways Like Steve Williams said at the Placemakers final, "there's nothing like the atmosphere at the ENZED Teams Champs meeting in Palmy". This pic is of Peter Locke driving Grant Myttons 28K super grunty CSL Ford Superstock, which was built in 6 days before the event.

Another MS Paint cropped pic I took. Dean Brindle (at the back) won the Waikato Sprint Car Champs at Kihikihi Thunder Sunday.

I took this pic of Dean Brindle winning the Waikato Sprint Car title at Kihikihi Thunder Sunday on the way home from the Auckland Teams Champs. He was very fast & left a good feild in his wake.

coolest "racing" pic is a pretty broad term, does racing a car include preparing and repairing? Peter Locke taking the current Gordge Hot Rod 28K for it's maiden drive, on day 1 of the 2009 ENZED Teams Champs at Palmy. It's way cool... mean even... probably even " Gangsta" " A Traction Engine" (Gedit? Attraction = the engine.... which is getting a lot of traction like a traction engine...) Note: that's wit not weirdness.

Hi Go SIDEWAYS Your picture is a good one of Kerry for two reasons First with Warwick Ansty 28H teams racing for Waikato and coming out through the bottom of the corner, while Kerry is coming around the outside across his path. "Crowed now goes wild with anticipation" About now I would say Kerry probley had that warm fuzzy feeling in his pants. Second It shows two of the best under rated drivers in action, were can I get a copy?

Don't know what was said, but everyone seemed happy. I took the pic at Winged Thunder II, I've got heaps more pics of classics and other classes from there, and other stockcar meetings, to post on the photo board when I get time. After WWIII

hey go sideways theres a photo board for random pics, coolest racing pics?? not engine or dyno pics sort it out man
UPDATE; Has been deleted - dyno pic is not a racing pic (as per this thread) and needed to be resized as well (as does another Go Slideways pic on Page 7 of the New Superstocks thread). Also the continual re-posting of the same pics on multiple threads gets a little tedious as well. Otherwise, keep up the good work........although surely every second post does not need to mention Keith Gill and/or CSL - does it? Barry B, Global Moderator

OK, I might put the rest of my pics on the photo board, commentless, one day.
I did ask if "racing" included preparing and repairing but there was no reply. I took your silence as acceptance.
I've had fun anyway.
See ya.

The pics are great, just resize the ones that are too big for the screen, and the comments are fine so long as they don't blatantly breach the advertising rules of this Board. Make sure they either stick to the theme of that particular thread, or yes, post them on the special photo board. That's what it's there for. As I said, keep up the good work.

I've had fun anyway. See ya. Gutted - I'm always up to see dyno pics of stockcars on the rolling road so to speak. And I think our BB's moderating has been a bit excessive. HOw many posts bang on about meetings coming up? Three quarters of them arn't even attempting to start disucssion, they simply advertise whats on, where it is, start time and price. Thats blatant advertising - and is continually let go. Heres a bloke who at least makes an attempt to craft a story, with pictures added, who is adding another deminsion to the board with the volume of photos coming out of PN - which i might ad, have been pretty slack over the last 2 years since the blow out with pic posting and video taking etc. I think goslideways has been given a raw deal - sure theres been a bit of "product placement" but its 10 times better than the majority of other mmeting advertising that gets on here, when in reality it should be on the notice board. Love the pics, and especially those behind the scenes giving us an insight into different garages around the place - keep up the great work. And thanks to the other picture takers who have contributed to this thread - its sort of like a highlights real from the season, which had been great to look over. cheers
