Forget Thomas the Tank Engine, it will Quadcam the Tank engine. Every good wish to the three of you, Pete Hahaha Tahlia is a very proud big sister, and will be looking foward to having mum and the new addition home later today I understand. I also hear the first peice of speedway memorabilia has been gifted to Young Brock, and it sounds like a classic. Hopefully we see a picture of both the wee man and the new gift in the future. Tim was a bit concerned he had bred a Mad Marty when the labour took 13 minutes. I told him if he wants to breeed a panther of the future that will hold him in good stead since everyone knows all good panthers have cut the poleline to gt an unsuspecting target over the years!

Good number that 13 - congrats Tim and Nat!
Nice to see the Motorsport names carry on in the Wiseowl clan too - Brock has a cousin named after "Ari" Vatanen as well doesn't he?? (So one for Holden to match up with the blue oval)!
Cheers Chris Hadley 13W

Can't help but wonder if Grandfather Savell had something to do with the choice of first name ....
Congrats Tim & Nat, and the Owl family ;D

Congrats for sure, to both Tim and Nat (and to Tahlia for obtaining a new toy)...........but a slap in the face for all "05" fans in that I believe he wasn't actually named after the late "mostly Holden" legend at all, but after, well, Tim should probably tell the story......
He has a dubious future with "Geoffrey" as a middle name however.......

Thank you everyone for your messages And thanks to Hadleigh for putting the photos up, Tims not home at the moment and photo bucket is not my friend We are home now and doing really well, Barry not sure what story he has told you but we all know Tim likes to tell a good story, the name certainly was chosen for the reason you state. Good excuse to take him to Bathurst in years to come and certainly a great way to remember the legend himself.

An exciting addition to the speedway family and I love the shirt, especially the SNZ legal on the bonnet - Hilarious!

Well done ya'll
I must admit I did expect one of two different names... If Nat won the coin toss Jack Jim Savell And if Tim called tails then (wait for it...) we would be introduced to Dave Gary Brian Allen Savell ;D ;D ;D

Your more on to it than people give you credit for Ramjam There were other "Racing" combinations that had a nice ring to them also my personal fave was "Simon Scott Savell"

Handsome little chap One imagine that bedtime stories will consist of who won the NZ champs in what year plus 2nd and 3rd place getters Or who owned what car when and who did it get sold to and for who much Or just for lite reading the SNZ rule book and when all else fails Who raced at the teams champs in what teams and for what team
All the best Wrecker

He has no hope really, does he................ Quite right Barry, no hope at all. And just think; when young Brock gets dropped off at his grandparents' place to give him a break from Tim's tall tales, his grandfather will want to tell him about the days when men were men and so were the women, when not every stockcar looked the same, when Albie Gordge was the NZ Stockcar champion and when 44 GALLON DRUMS RULED THE WORLD!!! He's destined to a life of speedway, whether he likes it or not!
