I tend to think people are losing sight of the real issue here,That being that how can something that has been voted against at conference ( the rule making process for our sport) now be OK
Are the wishes of the people being ignored Perhaps for some kind of commercial gain
And yes Macgor I believe that the remit would have passed at conference had Lewis Dawson not got up and said his bit.
In a nut shell I believe that if you don't vote to allow something then you are voting that you don't want it.
Maybe my way of thinking is to simplistic
If you say that this went against the "wishes of the people" , then how could this have been changed at the time? The decisions of the drivers should not have been changed by the delgates because of something said at the meeting. This would mean that it was up to them to decide and not the drivers.
We never even had a meeting about these remits, so our local dirver's input was never included!
(I don't beleive that this present system gives a fair representation of the drivers of the sport. Why could we not have voted ourselves?)
Back on topic:
I think that the system that is currently in place for the use of camera is a good one. The users of the cameras will be known to SNZ and the clubs. I would expect the drivers who use them would be responsible enough to protect and promote the sport with their mages and videos and not bring the sport or any person associated into disrepute.
