Afraid its true, read all about it today in Autoaction, A deal being done with Paul Cruicshank racing transfering a licence, and running two 888 built FG falcons. Quite a big article, and explains that Murph has had a guts full of an uncompetitive car. The agreement could be finalised as soon as this week.......OMG Personally I don't care about the whole Ford /Holden thing, as long as he's going to be competitive......

sprint gas may have a new boss but doesn't mean murph will stay.
murphs contract with holden is also very easy for him to break as he hasn't performed well enough to keep the contract anyway. also holdens pulling money out of v8s just as much as ford.
all the hype on the ausie v8 forums is that murphy will leave holden.

can't see holden letting that happen, yeah he does have a contract, lets not forget they named a commodore after him,a kiwi. skaife has done more than murph and not had one with his name. if its were true i hope they can find a decent engine builder at cruickshanks, fabian popped 2 engines at the last 2 rounds. now do i support kiwi's on the dark side?? or aussies on the red side??

I usually take anything posted on V8 Kindergarten with a pinch of salt, HOWEVER....
I have a suspicion Murphy's likely to retire from the championship at the end of this year.
All you have to do is look at Top Gear Live next year and compare it to the V8 Supercar calendar - both TGL and the new round at Abu Dabi are on the same weekend....

The Top Gear dates had been planed way before the V8 calendar was out so I would not read to much into this.

Also four v8 races on this weekend as the A1 GP cars will not be at surfers this weekend. The v8's have stepped up to fill in the gap and will race 4 x 150km races over the weekend. Hopefully TV3 can accomadate the changes.

maybe sprint gas racing is going to ford, just read the article on v8 central, could be the reason murph's oldman is looking at taking 1 of the licence's and going somewhere else.someone said murph is sick of not having a competitive car, well theres only 4 of them in the series-2 of them are t888's and the other 2 are hrt's,i dont think he's going with either of them so whats left. i think skaife has something to do with all this, watch this space jed
