Never heard of a 'SNZ New Driver Info book'. Certainly applaud SNZ should one be available. An info book 'class specific' would be an invaluable tool to assist get everyone singing from the same song sheet, to assist with basic application and understanding of the rules (and terms used) and set up princibles. Was pretty simple, but it gave you the basics of how a meeting is run etc and the "chain of command" type of info.

actually there is a snz new competitor book but alas i have not seen one either as my club didnt have any copies and your answer to the 1st question is wrong, technically all questions should be forwarded to the steward. i know this never happens, but they just want you to know that is who you "should" be asking.

As I recall we got one in 06 but it all went out the window as the lights went green.
I think you usually start from the back for a few meetings but if you are doing ok you should be able to sneak a grid draw or two without trubs (don't quote me on that tho) hehehe

correct you are supposed to start from rear of field until steward and sometimes in consultation with your rep they are happy with your driving

We didn't have to start from the back if we did the minimum 3 practices before the first meeting.
