It will indeed - and Oceanview is currently undergoing an Extreme Makeover - Speedway Edition for both the Balls of Steel night and the NZ Stockcar Championships in February.

Good on them! Judging by the sponsor, i would say the Rock will probably promote them hard out too! I hope it is very successful!
I think the "Crusty Demons" mention may help out too.

personally not a bike fan but on the thread topic..WOW that is awesome promoting, not some small out of the way advertisement, no missing that and a whole page to look at too.

According to the local paper yesterday, part of the makeover at Oceanview is to provide areas for corporate hospitality, and the corporate tents for Balls of Steel have already sold out. It should be a brilliant night.

Two page spread in the Taranaki Daily News today highlighting are promoting the club and opening night tomorrow, surrounded by heaps of speedway adds.   Yay for our paper ;D Drew |

Baypark Speedway had a full page spread in todays Bay of Plenty Times previewing season and sponsors ads.
May be Grandad 13r could post it up.
