You may have read about the launch of my little project on the Notice Board...........Speedway & Things. This is a strictly amateur and not for profit effort. Something to add to my and your enjoyment of speedway, etc. What I was thinking of doing is including a little profile of a driver from each meeting I attend through the season. Maybe half a dozen questions that people may want to ask and a few photos of driver, crew and race vehicle. Please reply with the type of question you think people might like to ask of a speedway competitor. This will help me put together a questionaire that I can use. I have a likely victim for this Sat at WP (just need to tell him) ;D ;D ;D. Cheers Smeats www.speedwaythings.blogspot.com/

well the things I like to read most about when it comes down to a particular driver is his/her racing history and the history of the car/bike he/she is racing . Why he/she is in the class and why he/she is racing i.e. where did he/she get the bug?.
Apart from that I enjoy reading the blogs that relate things the way they are from the writer's perspective and Greg does that oh so well on his one .

Thanks for the ideas. As stated earlier it was certainly Greg's blog site that inspired me as I always enjoy his postings. You are right inthat he has a great style and polish to his writings. I wanted to tap into my somewhat limited creative potential and do some things that have been bumping around in the overtaxed grey matter for a while and found this medium the easiest and suitable for my needs. Hopefully I might put a smile on someones face along the way.
Also looking for some quirky questions that may not normally get asked, so everyone put your thinking caps on.
As well as competitors, I will also try to tackle the odd club volunteer around the various tracks (with the permission of relative clubs, etc).
Cheers
