Never say the weather looks good just before racing, never say nothing has gone wrong with my car all night until you get it on the trailer.

The only tool you'll need all night is the one you left at home. If you take two spares you'll need three, so only take one. The only time the car goes great is when it is too late to matter.

Also agreed - happened a couple of times to me The superstition of not having green on a racecar extends to more than the car and includes people wearing green near the car (but thats much wider than just speedway). I had a couple of others myself but that may be more OCD than superstition.

Never leave the ramps down on the trailer, they always have to be up when im racing. Both me and my dad best season when our ministock was painted green and when dad has his streety green it was the best season for him.
This isnt a superstion but the number 71 hasnt exactly had the best of luck in speedway. Both Peter Barry and Aj Edward running the number.

I remember Meremere used to list there races as Race 11, Race 12A, Race 12B, Race 14 at one point to avoid having a race 13.
