Of all the images I've seen from this past weekend racing it's this Smeats one showing a track full of Modifieds with a full crowd of onlookers that has taken my fancy the most .}

It was a nice surprise to see that one of my pics caught Macgors eye. This was taken on my cheap Kodak from the lower level of the grandstand. I was happy it came out as clear as it did as it shows how busy it must be for a driver entering turn one in a decent sized field. Achieved my goal of putting a smile on someone's dial and showing speedway in a positive light.

Good on you to Smeats Much like yourself mate I don't have a big flash camera but the pics I do take I take for the macgorians nationwide who like to see whats happening at other tracks.They seem to be good as well because I get a fair few pm's for requests/use of photos so must be doing something right eh ;D

Shots that capture the flavour of a meeting are just as good to feature as any other .
That one reminded me of a scene stored in my memory , taken from back when the Park was at it's modern day peak .
