Yep numbers have dropped considerably in the last few seasons but Dad and I are back and willing to have a bit of fun again. I dont think its just whangarei that have suffered with alot of the bigger tracks losing cars due to the recession. Taipa seem to have a few numbers up their way and Dargaville have a few to so hopefully we can all get together for a few meets and turn up the action. As stated in the thread Grego brought up the cars we have put together are built on the cheap. Hopefully this sparks a bit of interest in the grade again and gets people keen to get out there and have a go, As far as Im concerned it would be great to see some new faces out there giving it heaps. BRING BACK THE BIFF!!!! ;D That offer of a drive still stands if your up to it Grego?

Which is your local track storemann? BP is my local. We have a reasonable turn out but the reality is that the track here is so long & wide that it really doesn't lend itself to lots of crash/bash. They still look for it but it is easy to get too spread out. therefore many go looking for other tracks near by where the tighter track shows off the class better and therefore attracts greater numbers. eg Rotorua for BOP area.

I would say up North? It Is just the start of the season and most dont drive or even turn up before dec.......We dont get payed to race,so we( I ) Pick when and where I drive as Im very busy at work and cant go to every meeting....Not that i do it for money,I do it for fun so dont pick on the drivers that only turn up for one or two meetings before xmas

Its good to hear people still want to see good old fashioned bash em out of the way stockcar racing in the north. Unfortunately our efforts are running a little late on the cars and we wont be out for the start of the season like we hoped to. Watch this space as the tank is taking shape quickly and should be out the next few weeks. If you see us at a track come introduce yourselfs. We love to meet new people with the same interest as us.

Sweet hope goose has still got plans of getting the old girl out again I look forward to racing with him. We had our first child a few months back and that sorta threw a spanner in the works of getting the cars ready in time. Few hardout days and we should be sorted though. Look forward to catching up. Nothing changes Ill be up to me old games again ;D
