Any word on the new driver of 8H stockcar?
I believe he was injured in race 2 last night.

Not even sure huntly ran last night. No reports posted on the Huntly site at all. The impression I get from that is it can't have been a very good nights racing, not worth someone from the club sitting and typing about what happened. Sorry if this offends anyone but come on someone must have something to report!!!

Was a great nights racing at Huntly. A very well run meeting.
8H isnt a new driver, Ryan Johnson has been around for a while. He is fine, has a compound fracture to the right wrist and 6weeks off work but will recover in time. He was in the ex 484s.

Unfortunate to hear about that only now, and I was there. I didnt have a working radio with me so - apart from a questionable comment that just randomly drifted across the infield at quite a high volume and in perfect clarity from Mintie about the photographers before the start of the meeting- before the sound faded out again and Mintie was once again not audible from the infield. I'm not a believer of God but I have noticed he works in mysterious ways - so I didnt have much clue as to what was going on around the other side of the track.
8H hit the track and it was like WOW that looks good. Its' a very well presented car.
It was a very good meeting, parking was filled to capacity that they had to park people in the pits, and there was standing room only in the grounds.
Racing - good action on the track, could have done with some more saloons but everything else seemed to measure up well.
Fireworks - brilliant display, even though a malfunction meant that only half of the infield display actually went off.
There ya go, a few words about it.. sadly restricted to my little corner of the infield, I'm off to sort out another radio for the commentary, then I can listen in to everything Mintie has to say about photographers.

Sorry if this offends anyone but come on someone must have something to report!!! easier said than done, looking for someone out side of committee as all the club staff are busy one way or another and never get to see alot of racing, those sorts of roles are better filled by independent people, we have aqired some help to do monthly write ups i believe, but full meeting reveiws are best from an independent but also a semi spectator vetran who knows a bit about the sport, and as for last night i unfortunatly missed it due to a friends b,day do in auckland, as for ryan he drives a production, nissan 300zx , and has raced superstocks also, was 1st night in new stockcar last night, i sort of hope its an old injury he redamaged and not a new one, he will hate watching as he going well at the mo and also races moto x bikes to |

The results are normally uploaded after each meeting, last night i think the two people that do that were away. the first meeting if you look back were up that next morning. i try and put up a few of the results when i get home but last night i was knackered.
When a track gets something wrong all h*ll breaks loose but when they just get on the with the job and a meeting runs as well as it did last night, no one really has a complaint, so not much is said, then we get a complaint because so little is said.
cant really win.
now that i've said that we will get a complaint.......... ;D ;D ;D
and Eddie if only you knew what is coming........................

The way I see it is that either God is trying to deal with my athieism by words of knowledge, or you've been up to something that you shouldnt, Mintie... ;D ;D ;D
Anyway, I didnt take any more shots of the commentary box, much more interesting things happening on track ;D

the ex848s car kool kar to drive az i drove it the week b4 it was sold in palmy/ fastt hanks mitty for t he chance to have a drive ...hope u get bak to racing asap 8h u got a cool car
