Why are they selling up? Two in two weeks. I was thinking about getting into a stockcar as the class was taking off but now it looks like its going down hill with cars for sale allready. with only having 5 or 6 cars going down here to start with now theres only 3 or 4. Not good  Any info would be good before i go spend money on a car in a class that might not stay here if it keeps going this way.   |

the class might have it's ups and downs here but it won't die. spend your money wisely and get a good car, don't buy something that is past it's use by date as so often happens here. you might buy somebody else's frustrations and get sick of it yourself and sell up wondering what the h**l have I done.

sprintcars seasm the better option, with 8 -10 cars down there, as well as a few cromwell , great feilds

sprintcars seasm the better option, with 8 -10 cars down there, as well as a few cromwell , great feilds dont listen to him...HES THE DEVIL!!!!!! go and buy your stockcar...the grade needs people like you to make the move! at the moment between dunna's and invy there's a good field,its going to be a while before each track has a good grade each so we need to keep the momentum going!! we're growing in numbers slowly...but surely...i know im in it for a few years yet so just do it...I DARE"S YA!!!!! |

Stock cars are still strong and will grow. Stick with it everyone they are very good to watch. Speaking for all grades, the F***ing track better get sorted and the F***ing so called committee, what a shower of Sh***. If it carries on a vote of non confidence should be called and let a good team get on and run it. All the club rooms need on a Tuesday for a so called committee is a truck load of BANANAS.!!!!   |

I agree with 33i the track was good considering the amount of rain that we have had. The saloon guys were very happy. As for the committee crack its the same old story no one else wants to stand up at AGM time. With the meetings starting at 730 pm on tuesday nights and some of us being busy and not having time for tea a few nice bananas wouldnt go astray

Don't worry about the wall Shane, you Dunny guys are slowly getting rid of it ;D
as said above, the track was ok. there's certainly been worse and not just Invercargill either.
and if you don't like what the committe are doing, I assume you will be putting your hand up next AGM if not before.

well i wonder who WAK is??? he-she seems to have a problem with words and i cant seem to find them in my dictionary.
if he-she had such a problem with the riverside club would it not make sence for them to attend a comittee meeting and offer their help if they know how to improve things??
Or is he-she just another disgruntled old spectator or wannabee racer that has nothing better to do than slag off a club with bad language on a national forum site.
good on riverside you have had some good meetings this year considering the weather you have had to deal with and better tracks than others ive seen this season.

One place you can normally count on to tell it like it is has a reveiw of whats been happening at Riverside thepits.racing.org.nz/featuredstories/riverside71109.htmlalways controversial, and always a good write up I reckon. And great to see some pics consistantly from Shelly Corbet, she does a smashing job down south. Sounds too me like Riverside is doing allright. Don;t worry about the naysayers - and keep up the good work stockcar driveers! |
