i need some help with this car .the body morris 8 is x podjerski x77s .the body was givin to me by beadyeyed racing had been lying on a farm in cambridge for many years an was a rusting hulk we nearly through it away many times untill x racer & now hotrodder gary pulley said give it to me .2 fridge doors down the sides & roof panel out of an old saloon down the back & waller there we have it. the bonnet is a castoff made wrong for a stockie brand new alloy we pulled it out of scrap bin .OK the big problem can any one I D the chassie was pulled out of the swamp behind huntly .it lay in our yard for years .till we started the golden olde club was sent to greg powel for sandblasting to see how bad it was & it was in pretty good shape .welded in a new floor pan .bonus built front end & mazda diff .seat was givin to me by some young fella that brought it in to yard found it in his dads shed .the 202 holden motor was still in chassie & is same motor in there now we towed it around block to unseize it ;D but stuffed the hq box .so have fitted a holden 1 ton box .motor smoked for ages & was about to toss it .we screwed the idle screw up on it to full revs & went an had smoko an wait for the bang . went back to it & wasnt smokin huh .gave it a oil change & filter fitted performane manifold & 350 holley got johny 5 onto exhauste to make long story short that same motor still in there .painted by me thanks to allen at link up & many other sponsers weve saved this olde relic from the crusher .ive been told it could be maclanigan chassy along with many others has 1974 welded onto roof plate any ideas

Pretty sure it isn't a TMac flatty. That bonnet sucks, throw it away and get one in a 1974 style. ;D
A lot of the car looks newer than 1974, possibly an old Forest Lake one that got upgraded for a standard stock at some stage and ran at Huntly. Will look through some photos and see if I can spot anything similar.

Just like to make a weee correction there Porry, the body was from Matt14h's place i only helped load it up. Cant believe how good it looks now. ;D

opps so it was mark .come to think of it it mite have been matt that brought in the seat as well .as we had no trouble fitting the lazyboy ;D.bonnet yes i no gav have selection of bonnets .but ran out of time & pair of tin snips & she was on .but will be sorted .the radiator hoop under bonnet lays back .but radiator its self is straight up & down .ive a funny feeling ive seen this car before somewhere & anglia body was mentioned yet the morris fitts perfectly ? .thinking caps chaps .
