00. i wonder whats the story now... run over one night?, oh great Dont believe I saw that announced anywhere jayden, still more entries to go up yet, a legacy of driver tardiness and our wonderful postal system. I realise the ministocks are programmed for only the Friday night, but dont hit the panic button just yet.

Hopefully not speaking out of turn, but as of last night there was 27 entries listed, and it is known that there are more to come in so i guess the answer is yes it is two days still, however Wog or someone will confirm.
Official cutoff date for entries was only yesterday, so its hard when you dont know how many cars there will be, and the drivers havent helped, as usual, with so many not sending in entries on time.

Worst case scenario -- a full qualifying meeting to eliminate 3 or 4 cars. Especially when attrition usually takes care of a couple.
But that can't be helped, the 26-car cap is rigid so the club will make the most of what it is dealt. A 40-car field would make it all worthwhile, though, chaps.

Can anyone more intellectual than myself tell me if i must have done one or more meetings this season before entering . I have not been out this year yet but are greensheeted and ready to go now. Thanks 71c (Gavin Vallance) You need to do one meeting, not your car Beaker. Big Jock told me he thought he saw you driving one of the christchurch cars at the last meeting in the last race? If that was the case that means you have done your one meeting even if your car has not. That would mean you would be eligable for the meeting, though i'm sure some would prefer you not to be if you have finally got a race engine instead of the stock as a rock motor in that car of yours.

stricktly the stock motor Mr O. (Til after xmas anyway) Big Jock must have confused me with another good looking joker, with hindsight i should have gone over the scrutineering pad and signed in but just put it back on the trailer. I noticed the lights dim a couple of times should have guessed BIG JOCK was there. Motor all sorted as of an hour ago but cant get away from work on two consecutive wknds so were doomed! For that sort of money Wog i would expect Tash to polish it once you had finished fixing it.

Total should get to high 30's with some luck,( man the pigeons are slow this week) with a couple of requests for late entries.
Anyone that wishes to come for a skid in the open races on the 2nd night (Saturday) are most welcome but please contact me to confirm thanks.

At present that is rather disappointing from a class that showed so much promise a season or two ago - come on drivers get your act together and support your class!!! Not too disappointing at all given the current economic situation
