Now that the day has dawned fine, clear skies and sun shining will a reversal of last nights decision be made and the meeting go ahead.

Now that the day has dawned fine, clear skies and sun shining will a reversal of last nights decision be made and the meeting go ahead. Far be it from me to tell Wai Prk what to do.... BUT.... I can't ever remember seeing a decission to cancel being reversed. But by the same token I don't know that I can ever remember seeing so many meets canned so far in advance. Strange days indeed.

The track had to be a lake to can it early.. frustrating another good meet spoiled by speedways biggest down fall: rain outs!

Hi All No WP will not be reversing the decision to race, the track is under water. The only thing it would be good for is Jet boat racing like most tracks at the moment. Heres hoping that Summer will arrive some time this year. Cheers Maree

I know it's all about the money , but getting the track ok ,is one thing getting enough spectators in to cover costs is another and if the weather is a bit dodgy people won't come . We all need to make a real effort to bring a friend each meeting or a neighbour or a hitch hiker or anyone . We need a bigger fan base .Cheers 77k

Weather has now deteriorated in Auckland, and think it'll be pretty crappy by mid-afternoon.
