Do Baypark and Rotorua need to swap weeks running Stockcars and run Baypark 1 week then next week Rotorua and so on. Its great having a full feild.
An inter track serries would be great what do you think Drivers, Willie Kay, Sonja Hickey and Fans

Stockcars and Super stocks to this fan appear to be very strong in Rotorua (which is in the BOP), both classes in excess of 30, with competitor numbers overall on the rise over recent seasons.

Not a big difference in numbers turning up on race night between both tracks . If these two tracks worked their race calendars so there were not too many clashes in race dates , it may encourage cars to travel. But even now when meetings dont clash , you dont see alot of stockcars supporting each others track. So guess it will be the status quo for now..

i dont think they are dying, maybe its just people can't afford to race as much now. with christmas upon us, we usually stop the racing and spend time with family and relaxing.
we haven't acutally had the opportunity to travel yet, to many clashes with life in general.
so no, i dont think they are dying out, just in hiding waiting for their bank accounts to look healthy enough to come out and play and be able to afford to fix the damage!

Certainly be better for spectators and possibly many of the competitors. And if the idea produced a better show / outcome for spectators then it has to be good for our sport.
