That's cool.I look forward to seeing it out on track. For years there have'nt been any numbers of tanks racing on a regular basis.Well Stockcars anyway that is.Josh seems to be getting his new one up to pace pretty quickly and Rees one is definately quick.Lindsay Trotters Tank had a broken nose last time I saw it but these and 23m will hopefully be regulars at the Champs meetings.

Theres also two tanks racing in the stockcar class in Nelson, with a third to appear after xmas by all accounts You can see pictures of two of them here www.nelsonstockcars.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=photos&action=display&thread=52Tank 23m is the last Tank built by "The General" Dave Evans. I think it originally had an independent front end that they couldn't quite sort. Scott Miers made his name in this tank. Interestingly Peter Rees made his first superstock teams appearance in the panthers in this tank. Kevin Roberts converted it to a stockcar, then converted it back to a superstock, first with a Holden, then a toyota I think. Then it sat and sat and sat and sat. Joel Pitcher got his hands on it, they raced it with a toyota, blew that up, then put the big chev in it, had some issues with that then parked it. The running gear was put into a new Rees chassis. last year it was bought by the new owners - and man, they have done a great job on it, it looks awesome. And, it looks like they are driving a tank the way they should be, every picture I have seen of it its had another car on its front bumper haha. Any other pictures of 23m appreciated

4v Josh Kahui Tank was very impressive, considering it's only a handful of meetings old, at the Gis. Stockcar Classic over the weekend. Don't know a lot about the car but it's certainly got some pace and seemed very at home on the big banked track, one to watch.
