We are meeting at the track at 12.30 and although I can see that there may be a break in the weather it will depend on what the track looks like at that time and whether we can get any machinery on to it.
Will keep you posted and our apologies for not being able to add something more concrete at this time, but we are desperate to get this Championship run tonight. Weather is good for tomorrow but not so good for the competitors having to wait another day and being so close to their NZ's.

Just got a txt from rotorua speedway..... the meeting is postponed until tomorrow night as the track is too wet.......

Just got phone call from Bruce the starter, tommorrow it is. More FM need to change their updates. Could be a few dissapointed patrons who turn up.

The Sidecars were already out even if it was tonight, as per an earlier post either in this or on another Rotorua thread.

this is a quote off the rotorua speedway website
"The bike force sidecar spectatcular" is not going to happen as most of the riders can not make it back"
Bugger was looking forward to see the race they were go fast until the rain happened.....
I hope 1NZ are ok after their fall.

TRACK TOO WET POSTPONED TIL WEDNESDAY NIGHT it allways seemed silly to me that all the SNZ saloon championships were far to close together the g.p in Wellington, the north Is and the NZ champs .. one of these 3 events should of been later in the season.. Now with the Norths being ran on Wednesday only leaving 1 day in between before the NZ championship is crazy..
